Custom Cycling Apparel Manufacturers — Built Around the Riding Position

Develop your next collection with a custom cycling manufacturer that connects fit, fabric and branding in one production plan. Sportxia makes race jerseys, bib shorts, winter jackets and complete team kits with rider-position patterns, design support and factory-direct quotations.

Designed for the Bike

Custom Cycling Apparel Designed Around the Ride

Start with the Forward Riding Position.

A 45-degree forward torso angle changes how a jersey sits. We review front length, extended rear coverage and forward armhole rotation together so the approved pattern reaches comfortably to the bars without fabric gathering at the waist. Fit is checked in the position your riders actually use.

Balance Headwind Protection and Heat Release.

A runner may travel at 10 km/h; a descending cyclist can exceed 60 km/h. Front panels need to manage airflow while the back and sides release heat. We pair wind-facing fabrics with ventilated zones according to the discipline, season and rider position.

Build Comfort into Six Hours in the Saddle.

Bib shorts carry pressure, movement and moisture throughout a long ride. Chamois shape, foam density and placement deserve the same attention as the outer fabric. Review the pad and its bonding or attachment method together, including comfort feedback around kilometre 80 and beyond.

Cycling Apparel Manufacturer China

Why China Is a Strong Base for Custom Cycling Apparel

Behind club rides, gran fondos and race collections is a specialised manufacturing network. China brings fabric development, cycling components and garment production into a connected supply chain that helps a detailed brief move into sampling.

Connected suppliers, fewer handovers

Fujian, Guangdong and Zhejiang offer established networks for performance knits, sublimation, chamois pads and zips. Coordinating these components early helps resolve material and artwork questions before bulk production. At Sportxia, a 16,000 m² facility brings garment development, cutting, sewing, decoration and packing into one manufacturing plan.

Technical evidence belongs in the buying brief

A cycling factory needs more than sewing capacity. Review its approach to material selection, colour control and rider fit, alongside relevant OEKO-TEX, ISO 9001 and BSCI documentation. Where your order requires SGS or Intertek inspection, agree the report scope and approval points before committing to production.

Factory costs that stay visible in your quotation

Compare the complete manufacturing brief rather than a garment price alone. Fabric, chamois, decoration, packaging and the freight route all affect landed cost. Our factory-direct quotation brings those choices together so you can assess the collection budget and the production plan with the same account contact.

Pro-Weight Lycra Sport

190–240 GSM Bib shorts & race jerseys

A 190–240 GSM high-modulus stretch option for bib shorts and race jerseys. Compare matte, subtle-sheen and textured finishes, with 4-way movement and supportive recovery. Approve compression and shape retention through wear and wash checks, including the needs of rides beyond kilometre 150.

Inside the Bib Short

Chamois Selection and Integration, Checked as One System.

The pad should work with the bib pattern, not arrive as an afterthought. Review the chamois profile, thermoformed adhesive lamination or specified attachment, and the garment sample together. Agree the material, placement and QC checkpoints before the approved design moves into production.

Fit for Your Riders

Three Cycling Fit Profiles, Developed Beyond the Size Chart.

The same measurements can lead to a relaxed club jersey, a close training fit or a compressive race garment. Panel shaping, seam placement and stretch tension define the difference. Approve the profile on the bike before grading the range.

Club Fit

Easy movement. More room. Everyday comfort.

  • Use an additional 2 cm chest and bicep circumference against the approved Performance baseline.
  • Straighter side seams give a less sculpted shape with comfortable room through the torso.
  • For club rides, gran fondos and weekend training where freedom of movement takes priority.

Performance Fit

Athletic shaping for training and fast group rides.

  • Balance panel tension for a close fit without restricting breathing or the pedal stroke.
  • Curved side panels follow the torso while reaching to the handlebars.
  • A versatile profile for competitive group rides, regular training and all-round performance.

Aero Race Fit

Close compression, smooth panels, race-focused detail.

  • Use a 2 cm reduction against the approved Performance baseline to develop a closer race silhouette.
  • Review textured sleeve fabric, bonded hems and number-pocket options on the actual sample.
  • For road racing and time trials, with the final fit assessed in the intended race position.

Custom Team Cycling Kit

One Team Order, 200 Riders, Individually Finished Kits.

Bring rider names, numbers, flags and mixed sizes into one coordinated run. Prepare kits per rider across jerseys, bib shorts and accessories, then choose a consolidated destination or an agreed distribution plan for up to forty addresses.

Send the artwork and rider roster

Supply the logo files and a list of names, numbers and sizes. We review print quality, placement and missing details before the master sample is approved.

Approve the shared production specification

Cut and assemble each garment to the team brief, including the selected chamois and base artwork. Use the approved sample as the common reference.

Apply each rider’s personalisation

Match names, numbers, flags and sponsor marks to the roster. Select sublimation, heat transfer or embroidery according to fabric and position.

Pack by rider, dispatch to plan

Place each kit in an identified rider bag and reconcile it against the roster. Consolidate team cartons or follow the agreed individual-shipping schedule.

Colour Within the Fibre

Custom Cycling Apparel Sublimation — Graphics Built into the Polyester.

Sportxia custom cycling apparel sublimation

Dye sublimation transfers colour into suitable polyester fibres, keeping large graphics light and flexible. The production brief can target Delta E ≤ 1.5 colour accuracy and 200+ wash-cycle evaluation. Approve physical colour samples, ink and transfer-paper specifications, then verify durability using the agreed wash conditions.

Choose the Right Decoration Method

Combine processes where they make sense for the garment. Graphic coverage, fabric stretch and placement determine which finish belongs on each part of your cycling kit.

Full-Dye Sublimation

All-over colour and detailed artwork with minimal surface feel. Suitable for polyester cycling jerseys, skinsuits and coordinated team kits.

Heat Transfer

Add rider names, numbers and sponsor logos in controlled positions. Reflective transfer options can be reviewed for low-light visibility.

Embroidery

Use stitched crests on caps and suitable stable panels. Match stitch density and backing to the fabric, keeping rigid decoration away from high-stretch zones.

Knit-In Graphics

Build logos and patterns into the sock yarn structure. Review the knitting gauge and colour sample to keep small artwork clear.

Rider Feedback. Team Experience.

Feedback from Cycling Teams & Brands

Rewritten from the reference manufacturer’s published buyer feedback, covering race-team reorders and the launch of a women’s cycling collection.

Terminal Velocity Racing

Criterium team · Austin, Texas · Published buyer feedback

Terminal Velocity Racing’s published feedback describes criterium kit for 50 km/h racing, with a podium-ready finish and a workable team budget. The jerseys stayed smooth while riders were in the drops, without bunching or riding up. All seven sublimation spot colours matched the approved sample on the first attempt. Across four reorders, the team reported consistent colour from one batch to the next.

Velosette Cycling

Women’s cycling brand · Portland, Oregon · Published buyer feedback

Velosette Cycling’s published feedback centres on women-specific kit developed from its own pattern block, rather than a reduced men’s pattern. The development changed shoulder width, bib geometry and chamois placement together. Its 150-unit launch sold out with 83 riders on the waitlist. The brand described fit feedback as the strongest driver of repeat purchases.
