Digital Printing

Detailed artwork, developed around your fabric

Digital printing uses an inkjet process to reproduce detailed artwork and repeat patterns. The fabric, ink system and finishing process need to work together, so share both your design and material requirements.

For collection graphics and intricate patterns, review color, sharpness and hand feel on the intended fabric. We can discuss the suitable process, print placement and sampling requirements before your order moves forward.

02 — PRINTING METHOD

Screen Printing

Bold brand graphics with a considered finish

Screen printing applies ink through a prepared mesh screen. It is a practical choice for solid-color graphics and repeat designs, particularly when the same artwork is used across a production run.

Confirm color references, artwork separations and print dimensions early. Ink selection matters on performance fabrics: sample checks should include stretch, curing, dye migration and the finished feel against the garment.

03 — PRINTING METHOD

Sublimation Printing

Full-color designs for polyester teamwear

Sublimation transfers dyes into suitable polyester fibers using heat. It works especially well for full-color panels and all-over teamwear designs, with artwork planned before the garment is assembled.

Light base fabrics generally give the clearest color results. Share your fabric composition, panel artwork, team colors, names and numbers so the design can be reviewed for registration and the finished garment size.

04 — PRINTING METHOD

Vinyl Cutting (HTV)

Personalize names, numbers and clear graphic shapes

Heat transfer vinyl is cut into the required shape, weeded and applied with a heat press. It is a useful option for team names, player numbers and simple graphics that need clearly defined edges.

Different films offer different stretch, finishes and application conditions. Match the film to your fabric and intended use, then approve the placement, adhesion and wash-care requirements on a sample.

05 — PRINTING METHOD

Direct to Film (DTF)

Detailed multi-color artwork as a transfer

DTF prints artwork onto a carrier film, adds an adhesive system and transfers the design to the garment using heat. It can be considered for multi-color logos and detailed graphics on a range of materials.

The finished transfer sits on the surface, so coverage affects the hand feel and flexibility. Review the actual fabric, transfer dimensions, stretch behavior and care requirements before confirming the production specification.

06 — PRINTING METHOD

Direct to Garment (DTG)

Detailed graphics printed directly onto the garment

DTG uses an inkjet print head to apply artwork directly to a garment. Cotton and suitable high-cotton blends are common starting points for detailed illustrations, gradients and multi-color designs.

Fabric surface, pretreatment and curing all influence the result. Review artwork size, garment color and the desired finish during sampling, and confirm availability and order terms for your selected style.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Printing Questions

Prepare your artwork, fabric and print requirements with confidence.

Which method should I choose for polyester sportswear?

Sublimation is a common option for light-colored polyester and all-over artwork. For dark fabric or local logos, discuss suitable inks or transfers. Confirm the actual composition and review a sample.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Sportxia orders can start from 100 pieces. Confirm the minimum by garment, artwork, method and color breakdown; setup and sampling terms depend on the project.

How do DTF and DTG differ?

DTF prints onto a film before transferring the design to the garment. DTG applies ink directly to a suitably prepared garment. Fabric, garment color, coverage and the desired hand feel help determine the choice.

How do I check print durability?

Agree the expected care instructions and review adhesion, colorfastness and stretch on a representative sample. Performance varies with the fabric, inks or film, curing and washing conditions.

Can you work with my brand color references?

Share your color references and artwork. Review a physical print on the intended fabric, because screen colors and different materials can produce different results.

Can I review a print sample before bulk production?

Yes. Include your fabric, placement, artwork and finish requirements in the sampling brief. Approve the physical sample and record the specifications before authorizing bulk production.
