CUSTOM SPORTSWEAR EMBROIDERY
Custom Embroidery
for Premium Sportswear
Give your brand a distinctive stitched finish. Explore regular embroidery, custom patches and 3D puff embroidery for polos, caps, sweatshirts and teamwear — developed around your artwork and fabric.

01
Regular Embroidery
Precise stitching for a polished brand finish
Flat embroidery stitches your artwork directly onto the garment. It is a versatile option for chest logos, sleeve details and brand marks on polos, sweatshirts and suitable outerwear. Thread selection and stitch direction give the design its distinctive texture.
Share your artwork, finished dimensions and placement. We review the design for digitizing, choose suitable backing for the fabric and prepare a stitch sample so you can assess color, definition and the feel of the finished garment.

02
Custom Embroidered Patches
A defined emblem, made separately for your garment
Embroidered patches are stitched onto a separate base before being attached to the garment. Choose a round, shield or custom outline to give club emblems, team identities and collection graphics a clearly defined edge.
Review the border, backing and attachment method alongside your garment. Sew-on and suitable heat-applied options depend on the patch and fabric; we confirm the finish on a sample, especially for lightweight or stretch performance wear.

03
3D Puff Embroidery
Raised texture that brings bold artwork to life
3D puff embroidery uses a foam underlay beneath the stitching to create a dimensional finish. It works best with bold shapes and suitably sized lettering, making it a striking option for structured caps and selected heavyweight garments.
Fine details and very small elements may need to be simplified. Send the intended fabric, artwork and size so the stitch coverage, raised height and overall finish can be reviewed on a physical sample before production.
THE DETAILS MATTER
Quality in Every
Stitched Detail
A well-finished embroidery starts with the right setup for the garment. Artwork digitizing, thread tension, stitch density, backing and hooping all influence how the design looks and feels.
Review the approved sample for placement, thread color, clean edges and fabric puckering. Your production brief records the agreed design, dimensions and finish so the inspection has a clear reference.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Embroidery Questions
Practical answers for planning your next embroidered collection.
What minimum order quantity applies to a Sportxia custom embroidery project?
Minimums depend on the garment, artwork and order breakdown. Send your styles, quantities and embroidery requirements so we can confirm the sampling, setup and production terms for your project.
Can you match my brand’s thread colors?
Share your color reference or physical swatch. We select a suitable thread match and ask you to review the actual stitched sample, because screen colors and thread sheen can affect how a shade appears.
What artwork should I send?
Vector artwork is helpful, along with the finished embroidery dimensions and placement. A clear high-resolution reference can also be reviewed. The design must be converted into a stitch file, and some fine details may need adjustment.
Is embroidery suitable for lightweight sportswear?
It depends on the fabric, design size and stitch coverage. Dense stitching can affect lightweight or stretchy fabrics. Review a sample with suitable backing, or discuss a patch or printing alternative.
What is the difference between flat and 3D puff embroidery?
Flat embroidery sits close to the fabric surface. Puff embroidery uses a foam underlay to create raised shapes and generally suits bolder artwork. The garment construction and design determine which finish is appropriate.
Can I approve a sample before bulk production?
Yes. Include garment material, design dimensions, placement and thread colors in your brief. Review the physical stitch sample and agree any revisions before approving production.
